The Sacrament of Confirmation is a pivotal moment where the gifts of the Holy Spirit come fully alive in response to your personal “yes” to God’s invitation. While your parents initially chose to raise you in the faith through Baptism, Confirmation invites you to embrace this faith personally. This significant decision requires thoughtful preparation, which will now be guided by the Pastoral Team of our Family of Parishes, as it is no longer taught in schools.

As parents, you have a unique and important role in supporting your child through this preparation process. The Pastoral Team is dedicated to assisting both you and your child as you journey towards Confirmation.

Candidates, this is your chance to deepen your faith and welcome the Holy Spirit into your life in a profound way. We look forward to helping you grow in your understanding of God and discovering the many blessings He has in store for you.

Your sponsor must be a practicing Catholic who is at least 16 years old and has been Confirmed themselves. Please choose someone other than your mother or father and ask them before our meeting. They do not need to attend any meetings but should be available on the day of your Confirmation
